Carolina Hurricanes Sign Top Prospect to Three-Year Deal

The Carolina Hurricanes are slowly building themselves one of the best young cores in the league and have added another name to their mix. The team has signed forward Seth Jarvis to a three-year entry-level contract.

The deal pays Jarvis a $277,500 signing bonus and sees him make $832,500 in the NHL and $80,000 if he plays in the AHL.

Jarvis is a dynamic offensive talent who is the perfect mix of speed and skill that should bode well for NHL success. The 18-year-old collected 42 goals and 98 points in 58 games during his last season of play for the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.
