The deal pays Jarvis a $277,500 signing bonus and sees him make $832,500 in the NHL and $80,000 if he plays in the AHL.
Jarvis is a dynamic offensive talent who is the perfect mix of speed and skill that should bode well for NHL success. The 18-year-old collected 42 goals and 98 points in 58 games during his last season of play for the WHL's Portland Winterhawks.
With the OHL season still in limbo, it’ll be interesting to see if Ryan Suzuki is on the Hurricanes’ taxi squad at some point after the WJC. If Seth Jarvis signs his ELC, it’s possible that we see him at some point as well. https://t.co/tGRP4WuCpF
