Dallas Stars Defenseman Out for the Season

According to reports the Dallas Stars will be without defenseman, Stephen Johns for the entire 2020-21 season.

The 28-year-old Johns has been battling post-traumatic headaches from a concussion back in March of 2018 and he's not healthy enough at this time to get back on the ice. The Stars will move the d-man and his $2.35 million contract to long term injury reserve once the season starts.

Johns, originally a 2nd-round pick back in 2010 by the Chicago Blackhawks has appeared in 167 career games and tallied 33 points.

We wish Johns all the best with his recovery.
