Florida Panthers Sign UFA Forward
The Florida Panthers have been searching for offense this entire offseason and it appears they will be receiving an early Christmas present, as according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN, the Panthers have signed Anthony Duclair to a contract.
one year, $1.7 million, Duclair a good fit in Florida https://t.co/RA3htBnUGG

Duclair who represented himself this offseason explained the move in a statement a few months ago. It was becoming quite a head-scratching move after the offers were drying up.
Reached out to Anthony Duclair; wanted to ask about his decision and what’s next. He sent a statement: pic.twitter.com/51oxCb8a6y

Duclair's career high 23 goals came last season with the Ottawa Senators. Expect the Laval, Quebec native to get a look within the Panthers top-6 forwards where he can expect to either play with ex-teammate Alexander Wennberg from their Columbus Blue Jackets days.
Okay, fixed up his card. He's not a flawless player but he's still going to provide good value for an FLA group that was frightfully thin at forward. pic.twitter.com/dfUI8ClgcN

Multiple well sourced reports had the #Sens offering three-years and $4.25M a season to Anthony Duclair in October.

Hindsight is 20/20 but missing out on $10M must sting a little. #Ouch #FLAPanthers #HockeyTwitter
