Report: Patrik Laine Still Seeking Trade from Jets
With training camps opening this week, there's tons of storylines to write for each team around the league. As for the Winnipeg Jets, their headlines have everything to do with Patrik Laine's desire to remain a Winnipeg Jet. It's being reported Laine's stance hasn't changed and he's still looking for a deal away from the team.

Pierre LeBrun of TSN broke the news back in October that Laine told his agent to get him out of Winnipeg and so far there's been no deal the Jets' management is willing to sign off on. Names like David Savard of the Columbus Blue Jackets, Aaron Ekblad of the Florida Panthers and Matt Dumba of the Minnesota Wild have all been linked to the Jets.
As for Laine, the 22-year-old Finnish sniper has one-year left on his deal before he heads to restricted free-agency again and regardless of if it's before training camp or not, all signs point to him being traded at some point this season.
