The two sides could not agree on a long-term deal which was the goal when negotiations started, however they have landed on a number to ensure Dunn is in St Louis when camp opens in a couple of days.
The 24-year-old d-man tallied 23 points in 71 games last season and is expected to see a boost in responsibility with Alex Pietrangelo now in Vegas. Dunn's plus 15 rating was one of the best on the Blues last season and the team loves his two-way game.
In 224 career games the former 2nd-round pick has chipped in with 82 points.
Vince Dunn, signed 1x$1.8M by STL, might be the biggest "analytical darling" defenceman in the NHL. His playdriving results are exceptional but for whatever reason STL plays him in extremely limited minutes. pic.twitter.com/FnxdcPjsvd

Great deal for both sides and add Dunn to your watchlist on your fantasy team.
