Swedish Junior Team Dealing With Huge Covid Outbreak
The Swedish National Junior Team is slated to fly to Edmonton this weekend and by all accounts there's some uncertainty if they will be doing so. The team has been dealing with a huge Covid outbreak as we have reported this week. It's now being announced a fourth player and their coach have the virus.
Swedish world junior coach Tomas Montén has tested positive for COVID-19, along with a fourth player: Red Wings prospect Albin Grewe, who has left camp.

A difficult situation for Tre Kronor, who are due to fly to Edmonton this weekend.
Sweden would now be without four of the best players and there's still a very good chance more players are going to be announced ineligible to travel.
At this point with almost every team being impacted by the virus, is it even smart to host the tournament? That's for the higher-ups to decide, but if more and more teams lose personnel, perhaps they pull the plug.
René Fasel wasn't scheduled to travel to Edmonton for the world junior tournament. He is now isolating at home. https://t.co/rY31rj1MM9
