Tyson Barrie Continues to Make Changes Before Next Season
Tyson Barrie had a roller coaster season in his lone year as a Toronto Maple Leaf, and he's looking for a fresh start in Edmonton with the Oilers. The offensive-defenseman saw the Oilers as the perfect opportunity to put up some points and contribute the way he was used to as a Colorado Avalanche.
While it will be a big change for Barrie heading to western Canada after spending a year in the spotlight in Toronto, it looks like the changes are continuing for Barrie.

Barrie signed a one-year deal in Edmonton for $3.75 million in a deal that's basically a 'show-me' contract that gives Barrie a shot at a long-term deal should he put up some big numbers with the Oil.
Last season in Toronto, the 29-year-old finished the season with 39 points in 70 games and much of his production came once the Maple Leafs fired coach, Mike Babcock.
Barrie's career season came back in 2018-19 with the Avalanche where he managed to collect 59 points in 78 games.
A congrats is also in order!
