Wild's Mats Zuccarello to Miss Significant Time Following Arm Surgery
The Minnesota Wild announced forward Mats Zuccarello will miss the start of the season after undergoing arm surgery. The 33-year-old left-winger consulted with the medical staff of the Wild this offseason and found out what was going on with his arm.
The crazy part is, he basically played through the injury most of the 2019-20 season and if you go back to his 2018-19 season in Dallas, 'Zuc' broke the same arm in his very first game for the Dallas Stars.
Season hasn't started, and the #mnwild already have a significant loss.

Right wing Mats Zuccarello won't be ready for the start of the season and may be out a good bit longer after having right arm surgery a few weeks ago. He has flown to MN from Norway to see Wild docs
Zuccarello is trying to hit reset on his career and this will surely make things slightly more difficult. The forward hasn't really been the same since being traded from the New York Rangers to the Stars, and it's just coming down to bad luck.
The veteran forward tallied 15 goals and 22 assists in 65 games last season for the Wild. This after he signed a five-year deal worth $30 million with the club in 2019.
The Wild are dying for offense, this won't help their cause at all.
