Dallas Stars Postpone Multiple Games After COVID Outbreak

The Dallas Stars season is off to a brutal start as the team is dealing with a COVID outbreak. Six players and two staff have tested positive after the latest round of testing and the NHL has released the following statement:

Because of the protocols now in place the team cannot play any games earlier than the 19th of January which will result in three games being postponed.

This will be the new norm in the NHL as they try to operate in a safe manner for everyone involved. On a lighter note, it sucks for fantasy hockey owners who won't have those man games anymore, but unfortunately COVID isn't a fantasy.

It's as real as ever and the NHL is dealing with it head on at the moment.
