Detroit Red Wings Announce New Team Captain
The Detroit Red Wings have not had a team captain since the retirement of Henrik Zetterberg. After many years with a vacant captaincy, they have finally named the player who will wear the "C" on his chest.
Dylan Larkin has been named the 37th captain of the Detroit Red Wings. He has been an overall leader since being drafted 15th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. Additionally, Larkin is the team's swiss army knife ass he can make big plays, score big goals, and hold the team accountable when need be. He will be a true leader on the ice and in the locker room.
Competitive. Driven. Dedicated.
