Evander Kane Files for Bankruptcy

In news we really don't love sharing, it's being reported by The Athletic, San Jose Sharks' forward Evander Kane has filed for bankruptcy. Crazy note in the article included he also may sit out this season due to health concerns with his first born child.

Recently we shared the news the team and Kane were being sued by Centennial Bank and today the rest of the cat got out of the bag. A ton of details were released about Kane's situation including a break down of who he owes money to.

Makes you wonder why he's looking to Box anyone who will listen. Kane has made over $52 million playing in the NHL and that's only the on-ice earnings. Tough to see someone go through this in front of the entire hockey world and we hope everything works out.

Talking with an ex-teammate he once made mention Kane would frequent the Casino in Winnipeg during the games if he was injured or not playing.
