Evander Kane Spears Jordan Binnington In The Stomach

Evander Kane is back on the news reel and it's not a good headline, as usual. Kane speared St. Louis Blues' goaltender Jordan Binnington in the stomach during the play. Expect him to get a call from the NHL Department Of Player Safety.

The most unusual part of this sequence is the lack of provocation. Kane was quite some distance from the crease while attempting to screen Binnginton. He only received a two minute penalty for slashing, but we should expect the NHL Department Of Player Safety to issue him a fine (que the bankruptcy jokes). It's worthy to note that Kane received four minor penalties during the game. Binnington's post-game interview about this incident is A+ content as well.
