Helmet Decals Will Pay Tribute Willie O'Ree & Martin Luther King Jr.
The NHL has introduced the sale of advertisement space on team helmets for the upcoming season. They have also designed helmet decals to pay tribute to the league's first black player Willie O'Ree and civil rights activist Martin Luther King Jr..
The NHL are paying their respects to the Hall of Famer and iconic civil rights activist as a theme to celebrate equality.
