Henrik Lundqvist Provides Update on His Health
The hockey world went into complete shock when Henrik Lundqvist made it known he wouldn't be suiting up for the Washington Capitals this season. The long-time New York Ranger made his way to Washington via free-agency and unfortunately, health concerns pushed back his debut.
Lundqvist has been very open and honest about his newfound heart condition, in this video:

The love of course poured in as Lundqvist is one of the 'good-guys' of the NHL and is beloved by teammates, fans and media alike. We'll all rooting for Hank and today 'King Henrik' provided a wonderful update on the process. It sounds like a long journey to get back onto the ice, but hopefully sooner than later we get to see Lundqvist strap on the pads and backstop another team to a victory.
Day 3. Surgery went really well. About 5 hours to get it all taken care of. Really appreciate the great staff here at the Clevland Clinic. Last few days has been pretty crazy but feel like I’m in really good hands. Every day is a step in the right direction 👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/wjMTosFWQy
