Huge Blow Dealt to the Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks are going to be shorthanded for the foreseeable future as the team announced rugged defenseman, Josh Manson is expected to miss a minimum of six weeks.
Manson suffered the injury on Monday against the Wild and his head coach knew the news wasn't going to be good when Manson didn't return to the game.
Anytime a player doesn’t come back in a game that’s usually a big red flag. With him not coming back, the area of his body is still irritated. You’re hopeful, but I think we’re going to take a deeper look at what’s going on.

Manson was off to a slow start so far this season with no points in three games and a minus 2 rating. This news certainly won't help the Ducks as they are off to a 1-2-1 start this season.
The 29-year-old Manson has two years left on his current deal and is making $4.1 million on the cap.
It's going to be awhile before Manson will be comfortable doing what's he paid to do, which is battle and stick up for his teammates like this...
