Insider Reports Johnny Gaudreau Is Done With The Calgary Flames

The rumors surrounding Johnny Gaudreau are back. Whether the Calgary Flames will trade Gaudreau is unclear at this point, but senior columnist and Calgary Flames Sportsnet analyst Eric Francis has reported some bad news for the Flames organization.

Francis made an appearance on the Brotherly Love podcast that reignited these rumors. Francis believes without a doubt that Gaudreau will not sign with the Flames at the end of next season. Although Gaudreau has publicly stated otherwise, Francis believes he's destined to sign with the Philadelphia Flyers. The Salem, New Jersey native grew up a diehard Flyers fan and his childhood dream is to play there. Francis states that Gaudreau's previous comments about retiring with the Flames is "lip service" and he will be out of Calgary as soon as possible.
