Joe Thornton Scores First Goal With The Toronto Maple Leafs

Jumbo Joe Thornton has been in the league for what seems to be forever. Thornton signed with the Toronto Maple Leafs with the hopes of concluding his 23 year career with a Stanley Cup. While that remains to be seen, he has just scored his first goal as a Maple Leaf.

Thornton is the best passer and playmaker of his generation. Instead, Mitch Marner takes a page out of his book and set up Thornton for a beautiful shot.
