Keith Yandle is Finished in Florida!
Earlier this week the news dropped that Keith Yandle of the Florida Panthers was taken out of the 'A Group' in training camp and moved to the secondary of the depth chart. It was a shocking move that's caught everyone off guard as Yandle recorded 45 points in 69 games last season.
The veteran defenseman holds a full no-movement clause and cannot be waived without his consent. Yandle is one of the best offensive defenseman in the game, however he does have his flaws in his own end. The team has notified Yandle to let him know he's not in the cards this season and his playing time will be given to younger defenseman.
Frank Seravalli on Insider Trading: "Keith Yandle has fallen out of favour with the Florida Panthers, they've let it be known to him that he does not factor into their plans for this season." #FlaPanthers

The Panthers have been busy claiming two young defenseman off the waiver wire and Yandle has now been pushed out of the lineup.
It won't be long before he's traded as the 34-year-old still has lots of game left. While he has three years left in his contract with an average annual value of $6.35 million against the cap, the majority of the 'actual cash' has been paid out.
Keith Yandle trade coming soon!
