Kirill Kaprizov Scores Beautiful OT Winner In First NHL Game
Kaprizov scored his first NHL goal in overtime to close out the Kings 4-3. He is the first Wild player and fourth ever Russian to record 3+ points in their NHL debut. He intercepted a blind pass in the neutral zone and went in on a breakaway, putting it between the legs of Johnathan Quick.
He was drafted 135th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft but opted to play in the KHL where he has dominated the past 6 seasons. Scoring a goal and registering 2 assists for a total of 3 points in his NHL debut is nothing short of impressive. If Kaprizov is not already taken in your fantasy league, definitely consider picking him up!
