LA Kings Defenceman Takes Slap Shot To Face
Two Los Angeles Kings defencemen left the game last night with scary injuries. Matt Roy left the game after Kevin Fiala hit him intro the boards from behind. Sean Walker was forced out of the game after taking a Matt Dumba slapshot to the face.
It's always scary to see a player go down with a significant injury. Walker entered the shooting lane ni the defensive zone and he paid the price. Dumba's slapshot hit him directly in the face, leaving a pool of blood as evidence. His status remains unknown but it's been confirmed that he was well enough to fly home with the team.
Here's the play.
