Minnesota Wild Dealt Huge Injury Blow

The Minnesota Wild are looking to turn a page within their franchise and prospect Marco Rossi is supposed to play a major part this season. The team has announced Rossi will be out indefinitely with an upper body injury.

Rossi recently played for Austria at the World Junior Hockey Championships and was by far the best player on his team. He had been in quarantine in order to properly join his teammates with the Wild and was following all the protocols in place when the news broke.

Rossi was a ninth overall pick at the latest draft and was looking to be in the top-9 forwards for the Wild this season who are extremely thin up front and likely headed for the top-pick in next year's draft.

Last year in the OHL for the Ottawa 67's, Rossi recorded 39 goals, 81 assists in 56 games.
