Minnesota Wild Looking To Trade Matt Dumba
Trade rumors have surrounded Matt Dumba for some time. The Minnesota Wild were expected to deal him over the offseason but this never came to fruition. They are reportedly circling back on the idea.
The Regina born player is playing his eighth NHL season with the Wild after being drafted 7th overall in 2012. He has had a decent start to the season with 3 points in 8 games, but a modified no-trade clause will kick in to his contract next season. His $6 million cap hit isn't a complete overpayment, but many believe trading him now will demand the greatest return.
One defenseman not getting talked about enough as a potential option on the trade market is Matt Dumba... noise died down for a little while but I think defensive needy teams will circle back to the #MNWild
