Montreal Canadiens Made INSANE Offer For Pierre-Luc Dubois
The waiting is over and it killed two birds with one stone. Pierre-Luc Dubois demanded a trade out of Columbus and Patrik Laine demanded a trade out of Winnipeg. They've now been traded for one another, plus some other pieces. The Canadiens were reportedly in on Dubois until the very end.
It would have been Dubois' childhood dream to play for the Canadiens, but it didn't come to fruition. The Canadiens reportedly put Joel Armia, Jesperi Kotkaniemi, and Ryan Poehling on the table, along with a selection of picks. The Blue Jackets wanted Nick Suzuki or Phillip Danault, but Marc Bergevin would not even consider it.
The Montreal Canadiens also remain in the mix on Pierre-Luc Dubois. Winnipeg, Anaheim, Montreal it would appear at this juncture.
