Nashville Predators Add Veteran Defenseman
The Nashville Predators were busy on Tuesday morning making moves as the team announced they have claimed veteran defenseman Luca Sbisa from the Winnipeg Jets.
NASH claims Sbisa

The 30-year-old Sbisa has spent 12 seasons in the NHL between the Anaheim Ducks, Philadelphia Flyers, Vancouver Canucks, New York Islanders, Vegas Golden Knights and last season with the Jets, where he appeared in 44 games recording 10 points.
Sbisa is a bit of a suitcase who has bounced around. His underlying numbers are not impressive so it's a bit of a shock for the Preds to claim him. Although he's also never shy to stick up for his teammates which you see below in the video of him dropping the mitts.
In Nashville he will be added to a defense that is physical, skilled, and one of the best in the league. We just aren't sure if he's even going to play.
Luca Sbisa, claimed off waiver by NSH for some reason, is a sub-replacement defenceman who's awful defensively at even strength and the penalty kill. At least he doesn't take penalties? #Preds pic.twitter.com/Y8LLo5YYZi
