Oilers Teammates Get Into Heated Altercation: Almost Comes To Blows
According to Sportsnet's Gene Principe, there was an altercation during the Edmonton Oilers camp that nearly came to blows.
Coach David Tippett had the team doing battle drills in order to increase the level of compete and intensity within their locker room. Jesse Puljujarvi and Alex Chiasson dropped their helmets but not their gloves as their tempers boiled over. Tippett surely got the intensity he was looking for. This isn't the first time teammates have collided during practice and it won't be the last. They'll probably laugh about it over a beer this evening.
