Ottawa and San Jose Complete a Trade
The Ottawa Senators and San Jose Sharks have come to terms on a trade and this time it doesn't involve Erik Karlsson.
The deal sees the Senators receiving forward Jack Kopacka from the Sharks, along with a seventh-round pick in 2022 in exchange for defenseman Christian Jaros.
The 22-year-old Kopacka has most recently put up 15 points in 37 games for the San Diego Gulls of the AHL. He was originally selected by the Anaheim Ducks in the fourth-round back at the 2016 draft. In 69 career games in the AHL, he's posted 29 points.
As for the Sharks, they receive Jaros who is 24-year-old former 5th-round pick of the Sens back in 2015 and the 6'3 Slovakian appeared in 13 games last season for the Senators, recording three points.

While it's certainly not a blockbuster, it does feel nice to see some movement around the league. After what the Sharks gave up for Karlsson, it's surprising they would even consider another deal with the Sens.
