Ottawa Senators Announce Alternate Captains

The Ottawa Senators will not have a team captain for the third consecutive season. However, the team has announced three players who will serve as alternate captains for the upcoming season.

Mark Borowiecki, Ron Hainsey, and J.G Pageau jointly served as the team's alternate captains last season, but each of these players have moved on from the Senators. The Ottawa Senators have announced that Thomas Chabot, Brady Tkachuk, and Erik Gudbranson will wear an "A" on their sweater during the 56 game campaign. Chabot and Tkachuk may be relatively inexperienced, but Gudbranson provides veteran leadership to a young locker room.
