Philadelphia Flyers Make Surprising Roster Move

The Philadelphia Flyers are set to take on the New York Islanders on Saturday and it turns out their lineup will look a little bit different. It appears via the morning skate that forward Travis Konecny will be a healthy scratch.

Konecny has disappeared of late and several of the team's core players were recently called out by the coaching staff. Looks like the punishment is not playing on Saturday for Konecny who has eight points in eight games.

The Flyers are 5-2-1 on the season and it's early but the team is holding players accountable for their efforts. You have to applaud the move, unless you have Konecny in the pool of course.
