Rumor: Canadiens Final Offer Details for Pierre-Luc Dubois
Saturday appears to be the day we see Pierre-Luc Dubois moved from John Tortorella's bench in Columbus and it's becoming more clear where the towering center may be heading.
The Winnipeg Jets, Anaheim Ducks and Montreal Canadiens were named the final three teams involved by the big named insiders, and if it's Montreal, Dubois will be the happiest player in the league.
The biggest factor with any trade will be money and a trade with the Habs is no different. The Canadiens have the young pieces to get the job done, but they need to move money out so they can take on Dubois and his $5 million contract the next two seasons.
Looks like they may have everything under control...

And while Paul Byron certainly makes some sense, the Blue Jackets have more interest in Phillip Danault who is four years younger than Bryon, even though Danault is slated to become an unrestricted free-agent at season's end.
The package would likely include Jesperi Kotkaniemi, Danault, Ryan Poehling and at least one draft pick.
If the Canadiens can acquire the 22-year-old Dubois and keep Nick Suzuki, Alexander Romanov and Cole Caufield, Habs fans should be dancing in the street.
