Rumor: St Louis Blues Closing in on a Trade
The St Louis Blues have been busy talking to a number of teams on their defenseman, Vince Dunn and it appears with being a healthy scratch tonight, Dunn is on the outside looking for the Blues.
Even though St Louis lost Alex Pietrangelo this past offseason, they signed a very reasonable replacement in Torey Krug, and already were stacked on their back-end with Colton Parayko, Justin Faulk, and Marco Scandella.
Dunn, who signed just before the season started, only agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.875 million and that's when the writing on the wall began that there was a good chance he could get moved.
Scratching him tonight against the Golden Knights in arguably their biggest game so far this season, should be a tell-tale sign.
Frank Seravalli on Insider Trading says it's not inevitable but it certainly seems possible Vince Dunn is on the way of of STL given Berube's comments & it's expected Dunn will be a healthy scratch tonight. Seravalli says #STLBlues have engaged conversations with teams about him.

If/when Dunn is moved, expect to see a number of teams interested and sending St Louis offers. The Edmonton Oilers, Winnipeg Jets, New Jersey Devils, and the Pittsburgh Penguins are all likely to be in on Dunn.
So far this season, the former 2nd-round pick has appeared in all six games, recording two points and a minus 3 rating.
