Sabres Head Coach Calls Out Flyers' Provorov
The Buffalo Sabres and Philadelphia Flyers have battled it out a couple of times recently and when you get these back to back games against the same team, the heat is picked up, both on and off the ice.
Sabres head coach Ralph Krueger was certainly doing his part after Tuesday's game as Buffalo's coach was sure to pick out the fact Flyers defenseman, Ivan Provorov knew exactly what he was doing when he crashed into Sabres goaltender, Carter Hutton.
Here's what Krueger said about the play after the game:
If you look at the way the elbow comes extended, you know what you're doing. It's the fourth game where a player of ours has had a violent hit to the head and hopefully there will be action for this one.
