Sidney Crosby Collides With Teammate, Leaves Practice

Try not to panic Pittsburgh Penguins fans but captain, Sidney Crosby left practice on Wednesday. Not only was he having some equipment issues, he collided hard with newcomer Cody Ceci and was shaken up on the play.

Crosby has a track record with concussions and has been injured a few times over the course of the past few seasons so there's certainly an uneasy feeling at the moment around the Penguins brass. It is worthy to note, according to sources he did return towards the end of practice.

Last season Crosby was as dominant as ever with 47 points in 41 games and is looking to bounce back after a disappointing playoff exit to the hands of the Montreal Canadiens.

Crosby is a favorite to win the Art Ross trophy, and him and his left-winger Jake Guentzel could be forming one of the best line-duos in the league. Let's hope his absence was not due to a serious injury and we call all see Crosby on the ice with his teammates a week today, when the Pens take on their rival Philadelphia Flyers.
