The Detroit Red Wings Are Now In On Pierre Luc Dubois

As reported previously, Pierre-Luc Dubois is expected to be traded over the weekend. There are a number of teams reportedly in on the Dubois sweepstakes, but the Detroit Red Wings are the newest team on this list.

Players like Dubois don't become available too often. The Columbus Blue Jackets have probably spoken to the other 30 teams in some capacity. However, there is a short list of teams who have inquired with serious interest. The Red Wings are the most recent team to have been named as serious contenders in the Dubois sweepstakes. It is unclear what Steve Yzerman would put on the table, but he currently has the full confidence of fans in Hockeytown.

List of teams that I believe have inquired with Columbus on Pierre-Luc Dubois, obviously some with more seriousness than others (in no particular order):
Anaheim, Minnesota, Montreal, Winnipeg, Calgary, Ottawa, Rangers, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Detroit, Washington and Arizona.
