Toronto Maple Leafs Player Placed On Waivers

The Toronto Maple Leafs are the deepest they have been in recent years. There are several players who will need to be cut from their roster, many of whom are already NHL calibre players.

Denis Malgin of the Maple Leafs is the latest NHL player to be placed on waivers. He has put up 60 points in 192 career games and may be called up if the Leafs run into injury trouble. Marco Dano of the Winnipeg Jets and Zack Smith from the Chicago Blackhawks cleared waivers this morning.
