Video: Canucks Rookie Scores First Career NHL Goal

The Vancouver Canucks may have found themselves a gem as rookie Nils Hoglander has first off made the team, secondly is finding a spot in the top-six, and thirdly looked liked he belonged in his first game with the team.

The Canucks took on the Edmonton Oilers on opening night and battled it out to a 5-3 victory. The win also included a ton of offense created by Hoglander and his line mates, which included his first career NHL goal.

The Swedish rookie, put Vancouver up 2-1 late in the second period, on a rebound after Edmonton failed to clear the puck out.
