Video: Foligno and MacDermid Fight Off Opening Faceoff

Talk about setting the tone, as Marcus Foligno of the Minnesota Wild and Kurtis MacDermid of the Los Angeles Kings decided they were going to start Thursday's game off with a bang. The heavyweights dropped their gloves off the opening faceoff as the Kings and Wild finally had something boil over from a previous game.

With the new schedule in the NHL, we've seen an uptick in fighting across the league as the bad blood rises with teams playing each other for the second, third and fourth times. 

This bout was a battle of the big boys, as MacDermid is 6'5 and Foligno is 6'3.
