Video: Josh Anderson Comes to the Defense of John Tortorella
The NHL media world has been throwing stones at John Tortorella for a long time now and more recently it's picked up because of the news Pierre-Luc Dubois wanted out of Columbus.
While Dubois has never once said Torts was the reason, many are speculating the coach's high demands from his players and sacrificing like blocking shots every shift certainly played a factor in Dubois' request out.
Well it hasn't all been negative around Coach Tortorella lately as Josh Anderson of the Montreal Canadiens who was traded from Columbus this past offseason for Max Domi had something to say this week and while Torts doesn't need to hear it, a lot of people do who are trying to paint Tortorella as a horrible person.
Listen in to what Anderson had to say about his old coach:
Chalk one up for Team Torts.
"Torts is one hell of a coach. I loved him ever since I was there, I've had no issues with him. He's an honest guy and you know where you stand with him."
