Video: Leafs' John Tavares Scores a Beauty Against The Jets
John Tavares of the Toronto Maple Leafs seems to be their hidden gem as he's always out of the Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner spot light. Throw in the fact the team brought in Joe Thornton this offseason and it seems like everyone has forgotten how good the Leafs captain can be.
Early on this season, Leafs and hockey fans around the world are being reminded about just how good John Tavares really is.

It may be early, but you don't have a good season unless you get off to a good start, and Tavares is blazing out of the gates.
On Monday night he ripped home his third goal in four games, this time on the power play parked pretty in the slot.
