Video: Martin Jones With Early Save of the Year Candidate
Martin Jones letting in the first shot of the season five years in a row is one of the craziest stats in NHL history. The good news for San Jose Sharks fans, he made the first save and then made 36 others as the Sharks took a bite out of the Arizona Coyotes, winning 4-3 in overtime on Thursday night.

His best save of the night came in overtime when Clayton Keller and Derrick Brassard had a 2-on-0 and Jones took care of the rest. Here's an early contender for save of the year as Sharks fans are hoping Jones can get back to his old ways:
