Video: Tuukka Rask Explains Why He Left The NHL's Playoff Bubble
When Tuukka Rask left the NHL's playoff bubble just as the playoffs were set to begin, there was immediate curiosity on what was going on. The speculation ensued and Bruins' fans were stewing on the fence of professional vs personal life of a player. Unfortunately for Rask, he took an unwarranted amount of criticism for the move and today, he met with the media for the first time to discuss why he left.

Family first, and you can't blame him for that!
Rask, who is an unrestricted free agent after this season also made it loud and clear he wants to stay in Boston for the rest of his career. The long-time Bruin is a former first-round pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs and was traded to Boston and made his debut back in 2007. Rask has appeared in 536 career games and last season he was stellar, posting a 2.12 goals against average and a .929 save percentage.

"I'm comfortable with where we are right now. ... If the contract talks happen during the season, so be it. ... My main focus is get the season started off right."
He's a UFA this upcoming summer.
Bruins fans would love to see much of the same this season and beyond!
