Video: Wild's Kevin Fiala Tossed From Game After Brutal Hit
Minnesota Wild forward Kevin Fiala is likely going to hear from the NHL after this dangerous hit during the Wild's contest against the Kings on Thursday night.
The Wild were on a power-play and were in forechecking, when Fiala lambasted Matt Roy from behind about two feet out from the boards. Fiala was assessed a five minute major for boarding and was thrown out of the game.
While Fiala certainly plays the game hard, this isn't normally something he would do and he's never been considered a dirty player.
Regardless, this hit was dirty as hell:
