Washington Capitals Call Up High End Prospect
The Washington Capitals are already an exciting team to watch. They're loaded with names such John Carlson, Alex Ovechkin, Nick Backstrom, and Jakub Vrana. They've now called up another player to their extended roster.
The Capitals have assigned Connor McMichael to their taxi squad and may soon play his first NHL game now that a number of Caps players have been added to the Covid-19 list. He was phenomenal during Team Canada's silver medal-run during the World Junior Championship, registering 8 points in 7 games. He has already completed his quarantine requirements, but it was unclear whether he would be assigned back to the London Knights of the OHL or be called up to the NHL. We now have our answer.
#Caps recall goaltender Craig Anderson from taxi squad to NHL active roster and assign forward Connor McMichael to taxi squad.
