Washington Capitals Hit With A Massive Fine
The Washington Capitals have been hit by the long arm of the law as the NHL has come down hard on the team. Today the Capitals were fined $100,000 for violating COVID protocols.

The NHL isn't messing around and rightfully so. There's already been a number of games that have been postponed and the positive COVID tests keep coming in day after day.
In addition, on NHL's COVID-related absence list: WASH has a "TBA" next to it. NYI's Josh Bailey added today.

Hopefully the numbers will slow down soon, but at this point there's some cause for concern about the NHL season. If the league can't follow the guidelines in place by health officials, there's a chance there could be a pause on the season.
Let's hope it doesn't get to that.
