Carolina Hurricanes Dealt Major Blow
The Carolina Hurricanes are going to be without their starting goaltender for the foreseeable future after it's been reported Petr Mrazek is likely going to require surgery.
The latest update on Petr Mrazek's upper-body injury from Rod Brind'Amour: "Looks like it's going to be a little longer than we had hoped." Said the #Canes goaltender might have to have surgery.

The 28-year-old Mrazek has appeared in four games this year and is off to a torrid hot start, posting a 0.99 goals against average and a .955 save percentage. Needless to say this is horrible timing for everyone invovled.
The Hurricanes will have to move forward with James Reimer and Alex Nedeljkovic while Mrazek is shelved, which sounds like could be for a couple of months.
