Edmonton Oilers Lose Zack Kassian For “Weeks”
The Edmonton Oilers will be without their resident tough-guy as Zack Kassian suffered an injury during the Oilers last game against the Ottawa Senators and is now going to be out of action for 'weeks'.
The undisclosed injury was confirmed by Oilers head coach Dave Tippett on Monday. Kassian fought Erik Gudbranson of the Senators and never returned to the game.
Giving the amount of rag-dolling and punch-throwing that took place, it's likely Kassian's shoulder popped out or he broke a finger throwing bombs.
The 30-year-old Kassian has appeared in 13 games so far this season and had recorded one goal, two assists and racked up nine minutes in penalties.
