Kings Shopping for Young Dynamic LH Defenseman
According to Darren Dreger of TSN, the Los Angeles Kings are in the market to make a trade and are looking for a young dynamic left-handed defenseman.
The Kings are full of young forwards under the age of 25 and are looking to swap some of their depth up front for an under-25 defenseman who can make an impact right away.
The team has surprised us all this season with a 9-6-3 record which is good for third in the West, only two points out of first. Names like Gabriel Vilardi, Quinton Byfield, Akil Thomas and Arthur Kaliyev are all believed to be in play as Blake is looking to pair someone up long-term with either Drew Doughty or Sean Walker.
Names linked to the Kings include Jake Bean from Carolina, Pierre-Olivier Joseph from Pittsburgh and K'Andre Miller from New York.
