Latest News on Taylor Hall's Future in Buffalo

Will he stay or will he go? That's the $8 million dollar question sitting on the desk of Taylor Hall's desk as his agent and the Buffalo Sabres management gear up for some contract talks.

According to multiple reports, Hall and the team both carry a certain level of mutual interest in completing an extension. Pierre LeBrun of TSN had this to say about Hall's future in Buffalo:

There is mutual interest between Taylor Hall, his camp, and the Buffalo Sabres to discuss an extension when the time is right.

As of March the 12th, Hall will be able to sign an extension if he likes, and another date to keep in mind is April 12th, which is the trade deadline.

The Sabres are currently near the bottom of the league again this season, even after management went out to try and make Jack Eichel happy and signed some veterans to help. Unfortunately things haven't worked out as expected.

So far for Hall this season, the 29-year-old has scored one goal and has nine points in 13 games.
