Los Angeles Kings Add Goaltending Depth
The Los Angeles Kings have added to their goaltending depth as the team has claimed netminder Troy Grosenick from the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday.
It's nothing new for the 31-year-old to be on the move as Grosenick's gone from signing with the Kings back in October of 2020, to being claimed by Edmonton in January, to now be heading back to California.
With the taxi-squad element influencing this season, Grosenick is one of many players who have been up and down and all around.

The undrafted Wisconsin native hasn't appeared in an NHL game since he appeared in two for the San Jose Sharks back in 2015 and he was spectacular. Last season he appeared in 33 AHL games and finished the season with a 2.29 goals against average and a .920 save percentage.
At this point, it's going to take a couple injuries to occur before Grosenick gets a look, but hey, it's always good to feel wanted.
