Minnesota Wild Dealt Another Huge Blow
The Minnesota Wild are already missing a number of players due to injury and illness. The Wild are currently in third place in the West Division, but their injury woes may cause them to go on a skid. They have lost yet another player.
The Wild are currently missing Kevin Fiala (suspension), Marcus Foligno (Covid-19) Matt Dumba (lower-body) and Marcus Johansson (upper-body). They will now be without their captain Jared Spurgeon after suffering a head injury in their 2-1 loss against the Colorado Avalanche. He left the game during the second period and did not return for the remainder of the game.
There is not yet an update on his expected return. He is expected to miss some time but the Wild suspect he will not be away for a significant period of time. Kevin Fiala will return from suspension for their game tomorrow evening which will alleviate some of their issues.
