New York Rangers Hit With Tough Injury News
The New York Rangers will be without Jacob for the next four-to-six weeks as the defenseman broke his thumb on Tuesday as the Rangers took on the New Jersey Devils.
The injury occurred after Trouba played 13 minutes and the Rangers now certainly will be leaning heavily on the likes of Adam Fox.
As for Trouba, the 26-year-old is struggling a bit this season as he's only put up three assists in 14 games. Regardless, he eats up big minutes and plays a tough game on opponents.

Trouba was of course acquired a couple of seasons ago from the Winnipeg Jets and both teams continue to evaluate the trade.
Since the trade:#NHLJets Neal Pionk: 86GP, 7G, 50A, 57PTS. (This year: 15GP, 1G, 11A, 12PTS). Making $3 million.#NYR Jacob Trouba: 83GP, 7G, 22A, 29PTS. (This year: 13GP, 0G, 2A, 2PTS). Making $8 million.

Winnipeg also got 20th pick (Ville Heinola).
I have a column coming.
